In contrast to this, God has called us to be a people who are 1) holding fast the confession of faith; 2) Stirring up one another to love and good deeds; 3) Not neglecting to meet together; and 4) Encouraging one another.

Jesus was a great example of how sometimes it is better not to return insults, chat in excess, speak carelessly or excessively. One day we will be judged and give account for all our words.
