Returning to God Through Suffering

Ps. 119:65-72 - God uses suffering to grow us in our sanctification. Without suffering we often wander, but suffering brings us back to the Word. God is faithful and kind, and that is why the suffering sent from God is good. In spite of the suffering, one should remain faithful and be comforted by His Word. Suffering teaches us the Word. The Word, to which we return through the suffering, is the dearest.
